About Us
Our Mission
The Aspen Foundation helps people understand their rights, their power, and how to build a fairer world — at work, in their communities, and across society. We support teachers and changemakers who are growing the next generation of active, informed citizens.
Our Vision
A just and equitable society where every student understands their rights, values collective action, and contributes to building fairer workplaces and communities.
We envision a future where labour education is not an afterthought — but a vital part of how young people make sense of the world, shape their identities, and stand up for what’s right.
Our Values

Solidarity
We believe in the power of collective action. Real change happens when students, teachers, workers, and communities come together — because we’re stronger when we show up for each other.

Equity
Public education should work for everyone — not the few. We work to change the systems that limit access and opportunity, and we celebrate the strength, insight, and contributions of communities pushing for something better.

Empowerment
Education should expand what's possible. We help people understand their rights, their histories, and their power — and support them in using that knowledge to create change.
